Kazimierz Miziniak August 15, 1925-October 27, 2014 Mr. Kazimierz Miziniak , 89, of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday October 27, 2014 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. Kazimierz has lived in the LaPorte area for 11 years, coming from Chicago Heights. He was born August 15, 1925 in Malinow, Poland, the son of John Miziniak and Maria (Jadryczko) Miziniak. Kazimierz worked as a maintenance engineer for Calumet Steel Mfg. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On April 24, 1953, in Poland, he married Anna (Pietruska) Miziniak who preceded him in death October 6, 2005. He is survived by his two daughters, Zofia Timm of La Porte, IN, Helena (Daniel) Neek of Greenlawn, NY; six grandchildren, Kazimierz Timm, Floyd Timm, Sarah Neek, J D Neek, Michelle Neek, and Joe Neek. Kazimierz was preceded in death by his parents, wife, six sisters, and six brothers. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 11:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Deacon Chris Hawkins, officiating.
