Kathryn I. Hoeppner August 25, 1929-January 29, 2015 Kathryn I. Hoeppner, 85, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Thursday January 29, 2015 at her home in LaPorte. She was born August 25, 1929 in Wanatah, Indiana, the daughter of Edward A. Keehn and Anna M. (Stolte) Keehn. Kathryn was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Kathryn enjoyed crocheting and making baby blankets for all her grandchildren and friends. On November 22, 1947, in LaPorte, IN, she married James H. Hoeppner who preceded her in death June 12, 2008. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Hoeppner of Wanatah, IN, Nancy (Douglas) Ricks of Walkerton, IN; son, James (Bonnie) Hoeppner of Walkerton, IN; five grandchildren, Dawn, Rebecca, Jeremy, Lesa, and Christopher; ten great grandchildren, Kara, Hannah, Landon, Nolan, Brynley, Brock, Morgan, Cole, Brook, and Logan. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Donald L. Keehn, Edward Keehn, and Kenneth Keehn, and a sister, Evelyn Keehn. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, February 2, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday February 3, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ronald A. Brauer officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church 111 Kingsbury Ave. LaPorte, IN 46350.
