Kathryn Harness

Kathryn M.Harness July 7, 1922-March 10, 2018 Kathryn M. Harness, 95, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born July 7, 1922 in Wanatah, Indiana, the daughter of Austin Weliver and Martha (Menne) Weliver. Kathryn was a nurses aid at the La Porte Hospital of 33 years and retired in 1990 and she was a member of the Retires Club of La Porte Hospital In 1996, in La Porte, IN she married Ralph Harness who preceded in death on March 20, 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Judy K. Weisjohn of La Porte, IN; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Gene Weliver; sister, Sandra Williams both of La Porte, IN. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pamela Harshman, brother, Wallace Weliver, three sisters, Rosemary Harrison, Evelyn Dietz, and Lucille Weliver. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
