Katherine Senne

Mrs. Katherine L. Niese Senne, age 91, of 1111 Longwood Dr., La Porte, Ind., died Monday, October 10, 2005, at Her Residence in La Porte, Ind. She was born March 18, 1914 in Springfield, MO. She was raised by the late Frederick Schoch and the late Alma "Ma" Pace Schoch, and has lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Senne was employed by Woolworth Dime Store for 13 years as a waitress and retired in 1966. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge #492 of LaPorte, Maple Ramblers Motorcycle Club, she enjoyed bowling, crochet working, and used to bowl in the basement of Civic Center. On March 20, 1937 in Mishawaka, IN. she married Willard Senne who preceded her in death March 24, 1969. She is also preceded in death by One Son, Donald Lee Senne; One Grandson, Kyle Tuholski; Four Sisters; and One Brother. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Shirley Lamb of LaPorte, Ind., Mrs. Marilyn Gierke of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mrs. Marsha Gourley of LaPorte, Ind.; Three Sons, Mr. Carl Karen Senne of La Porte, Ind., Mr. George Jenice Senne of Westville, Ind., Carl E. Senne of La Porte, Ind.; Twenty One grandchildren; and Forty One great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2005. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2005, Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
