June V. Wood April 7, 1932-July 29, 2016 June V. Wood age 84, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Zoe Ann Lovekin; son, Terry (Debra) Wood; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Patty (Steve) Bell and Jackie Canon. Preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Loretta Schultz; husband, William Wood; son, Danny Wood and 12 brothers and sisters. June was born on April 7, 1932 to Victor and Loretta (Hensell) Schultz in La Porte, IN. On June 10, 1950 she married William Wood in La Porte, IN where they raised 3 children. She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, and playing card games with her grandchildren. June was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will sadly be missed by all whose lives she touched. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00AM meeting directly at Patton Cemetery 1401 Rumley Street La Porte, IN with Rev. Craig Forwalter officiating.
