June M. Lewis 61, of 2079 E. 1000 N. LaPorte, IN, passed away 9:15 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at her home. She was born March 22, 1943 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Woodrow ?Bud? Hall and Ruth Sheeves Hall. Married on July 20, 1958 in New Buffalo, MI to James Lewis, who survives. June is survived by her husband; James Lewis of LaPorte, IN; her mother, Ruth Hall of Buchanan, MI; daughter, Ruth Dan Lee of LaPorte, IN., son, Tim Lewis of LaPorte, IN., daughter, Vicki John Hawkins Lewis of LaPorte, IN., daughter, Lori Dan Miller of LaPorte, IN., son, James Stacie Lewis II of LaPorte, IN., brother, John Evelyn Hall of New Carlisle, IN., brother, Robert Roxanne Hall of Michigan City, IN., sister, Shirley Bill Jania of Michigan City, IN., sister, Carol Schrimsher of Michigan City, IN., sister, Mary Hall of Michigan City, IN., 10 grandchildren, Greg Amor, Derek Kim Amor, Billy Lewis, Bridget Lewis, Cari Lewis, Stephen Lewis, Monica Lewis, Tabitha Miller, Kristina Miller and James Lewis III; 3 great-grandchildren, Austin Amor, Blake Amor and Kylee Hughes. June was preceded in death by her father, 3 brothers; David Hall, Jimmy Hall, Billy Hall, 1 sister; Sandy Emerick. June loved and enjoyed gardening, sewing and volunteer work at Salvation Army. She was awarded several awards from Salvation Army fundraisers. She participated in Pumpers Association. The Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. Dan McDonald, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM ? 8:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM Tuesday, until time of service. Cremation will have taken place.
