Judy Zila

Mrs. Judy A. Zila, 63, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away, Friday June 25, 2010 at LaPorte Hospital. She was born April 11, 1947 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Darwin L. Kepcha and Marjorie Esslinger Kepcha. Judy worked as an instructional assistant for LaPorte Community School Systems. Judy enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her grandchildren and dogs. On May 17, 1969, in LaPorte, IN, she married William R. Zila who survives. She is also survived by her son - Scott Tricia Zila of La Porte, IN; daughter - Missy Chris Coil of New Carlisle, IN; two grandchildren - Abby Zila, and Ally Zila. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Wednesday June 30, 2010 at 10:00 AM Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
