Joyce Laskoski

Mrs. Joyce M. Laskoski, 80, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, formerly of Rolling Prairie, IN died Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the Hospice House of Harrison, Arkansas. She was born October 4, 1928 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Milo Frame and Doris Hostetler Frame. She has lived in Arkansas for two years moving from Rolling Prairie, IN. Joyce was a homemaker and had worked for Ajax Hardware for 8 years and retired in 1977. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie and the Light House Bible Church of Diamond City, AR. On Oct. 5, 1946 in LaPorte, IN she married Arthur Brewer who preceded in death May 23, 1995. She remarried on January 4, 1997 to John Laskoski who preceded in death on June 10, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Gary Kish of Diamond City, AR, son, Jim Pat Brewer of Rolling Prairie, IN, Step-daughter, Stephanie Stephen Kulwicki of La Porte, IN, two step-sons, Gerry Nancy Laskoski, Larry Laskoski both of Rolling Prairie, IN, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and a sister, Margaret Gibson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2009 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm & Saturday, February 21, 2009 9:30 am until time of the service at the church. Services will be held at the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie, February 21, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Brother Ransom Ebersole officiating. Interment will follow in the Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
