Joseph B. Miller January 25, 1971-September 24, 2014 Mr. Joseph B. Miller, 43, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday September 24, 2014 in Fargo, North Dakota. He was born January 25, 1971 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Clyde Miller, Jr. and Lois (Braden) Miller. He is survived by his parents, Clyde and Lois Miller of LaPorte, IN., his loving son, Joey Miller of Knox, IN; his loving, Fiance', Heather Miller of La Porte, IN; two step-daughters, Jordan Nelson of La Porte, IN, Tatum Miller of La Porte, IN; two step-sons, Izak Nelson of La Porte, IN, Zackary Miller of La Porte, IN; sister, Kimberly (John) Marshman of Rolling Prairie, IN. Joseph Miller graduated from LaPorte High School. He worked for Strom Engineering as a heavy equipment crane operator. He was a very amazing father and son. Joseph was a member of the PRCU and PNA. In Joseph's spare-time he loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his Harley motorcycle. Joseph was a one of a kind man. He had such compassion and love for the ones in his life. He was caring, loving and loved to joke around. Joseph was loved by everyone, who he made contact with. Joseph was the kind of man that when he walked into the room everyone would smile, there was always happiness. Joseph will be missed by many. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 3:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Cremation will take place.
