Joseph A. Freese October 23, 1977-April 4, 2019 Joseph A. Freese, 41, of La Porte, IN, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 in La Porte, Indiana. He was born October 23, 1977 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Raymond Freese and Pamela Mitchell. Joseph worked at Hydro-Extrusion as a supervisor in North Liberty. He was very mechanically inclined and good with his hands. He had a great sense of humor and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Joseph was very family oriented and loved spending time with his children. He is also survived by biological father, Jeff (Judy) Smitherman; three sons, Michael, Landen, Nohlan; three daughters, Christina, Falisa, Miley; two brothers, Anthony Freese, Tevin Freese; two sisters, Patrisa (Cory) Tyler, TeErica Jefferies; one grandson; three uncles, Rickey Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell, Randy (Kathy) Mitchell; aunt, Janet (Ronal) Reyes; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Freese and grandparents, Gene (Christine) Mitchell. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, April 9, 2019, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Daniel R. Fleming, Sr. officiating.
