Johnna Froh

Mrs. Johnna V. Podgorny Froh, age 84, of La Porte, Ind., died 8:45 PM Saturday, January 5, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born June 6, 1923 in Chicago, Ill to the late Frank Podgorny and the late Bernice Kmiek Podgorny. She has lived in LaPorte since 1941 coming from South Haven, Mich. Mrs. Froh retired from T.P. Labs as a Dental Lab Technician in 1988 after 27 years of service and she was a member of the Farm Bureau. On February 24, 1944 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Lester Diederich who preceded in death December 18, 1962. She remarried on Jan 30, 1965 in LaPorte, Ind. to Richard Froh who preceded in death August 25, 2004. She is survived by her Two Daughters, Cheryl Ariail Smith of Leo, Ind., Leanne Brown of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Two Sons, David Kathy Diederich of La Porte, Ind., Charles Diederich of Saint Augustine, Fla.; Two Step-Daughter, Norma Jean Barden of LaPorte, Ind., Mary Huber of LaPorte, Ind., One Sister, Lennie Niles of Holland, Mich.; Two Brothers, Bill Podgorny of Elkhart, Ind., Chester Podgorny of Wayne, Mich.; Fifteen grandchildren; and Eleven great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2008, Rev. Joseph Loftis officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
