John Lindsley

Mr. John E. Lindsley, age 59, of La Porte, Ind., died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. He was born March 18, 1949 in South Bend, Ind, to the late Daniel Lindsley and the late Erma Wolff Lindsley. Also preceded in death is a sister Wanda Perrish, and sister, Ethel McShirley. Mr. Lindsley has lived in LaPorte for 36 years, coming from South Bend, Ind. On February 7, 1977 in Wise, West Virginia, he married Edith D. Lawson, who survives. Mr. Lindsley had been employed by Accurate Castings for 21 years. He also served in the National Guard 113th Div. for 20 years. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Edith D. Lindsley of LaPorte, Ind, Two Daughters. Teresa Kinsey of LaPorte, Ind, Pamela Lawson of La Porte, Ind, Three Sons, Gary Monica Lindsley of Culver, Ind. Paul Heather Lindsley of Culver, Ind. John Lindsley of La Porte, Ind. three Sisters, Karen Lindsley, Katie Davis, Vayda Davis, Four Brothers, Kenney Lindsley, Richard Lindsley, Charles Lindsley, Lester Lindsley , and Seven grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, April 21, 2008. And from 9:00 AM until time of service, Tuesday April 22, 2008 Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2008 , with Rev. Richard Hoffman, officiating.
