John C. Kuespert, 62, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday November 16, 2022.

He was born March 20, 1960 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Charles W Kuespert and Betty Lou (Wolfenbarger) Kuespert.

John enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, and hunting for cauliflower mushrooms.  He was known to be an excellent woodworker and loved Notre Dame College Football. Sports he liked to play were pool, darts, horseshoes (utilizing the "California Flip" when playing), and was also a Frisbee trickster.  John also liked spending time outside doing yard work.

On July 7, 2003, he married Sandra Kuespert who survives.

He is also survived by his three sons, Chris (Tina Holt) Kuespert, Brandon Kuespert, Samuel Wilson; two daughters, Jessica Hartman, Sara (Leon) Malicki; three brothers, Bill Kuespert, Allen Kuespert, Larry (Karen) Keneifel; two sisters, Debra Noll, Karen (Brian) Blake; eleven grandchildren, C.J., Lenell, Nathaniel, Atheia, Genevieve, Billy, Aleciah, Leon, Noel, Mike, Oliver.

John was preceded in death by his son, Bill Wapoli, and grandchildren, Gianni and Lacy.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. Cremation will take place.
