John Cobb

Mr. John M. Cobb, age 56, of Kingsford Heights, IN., died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born June 26, 1949 in LaPorte, Indiana, to Luther Cobb and Katie Tipton Cobb, who has preceded. Also preceded in death is one sister, and two brothers. Mr. Cobb was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsford Heights. He was also a Veteran of US Army during Vietnam Era. He Served in the Army during Vietnam War. Surviving are Three Sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Ballinger of Kingsford Heights, IN, Mrs. Charlene William Olds of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Geraldine Latham of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. One Brother, Mr. Ron Carolyn Cobb of Kansas City, Kan. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2006, and from 10:00 AM Saturday, 03/18/2006, at the First Baptist Church of Kingsford Heights, until time of service. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Kingsford Heights at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2006 , with Rev. John T. Talley III officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kingsford Heights.
