John Carroll

John D. Carroll, 57, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Monday May 9, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was born February 16, 1954 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Raymond T. Carroll and Elma L (Earl) Carroll. John had worked in the street department for the City of South Bend. He was an US Army Veteran during Vietnam Era. He is survived by his mother, Elma Carroll of LaPorte, IN.; one brother - Kenny (Debbie) Carroll of WI; three sisters - Becky Carroll of La Porte, IN, Joyce Carroll of Phoenix, AZ, Carol (Richard) Kinsey of La Porte, IN; one nephew - Ronnie Thomas of La Porte, IN, and ex-wife - Mary Carroll of South Bend, IN. John was preceded in death by his father and two sons, John Carroll, and John Carroll, Jr. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at Westlawn Cemetery, Saturday May 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM cst. Crematon will take place.
