John Becker

Mr. John G. Becker Sr., 66, of 7993E CR-400S, Walkerton Fish Lake, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at 12:10 p.m. at his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Evergreen Park, Ill., to Erwin and Marie Hansen Becker, and had lived in Fish Lake 23 years, coming from Worth, Ill. Mr. Becker was a concrete worker for Becker Concrete. Surviving are four daughters, Paula Paul Gilbert of Rochester Hills, Mich., Pat Al Zeiler of Oak Forest, Ill., Pamela Chris Barry of Duxbury, Mass., and Tammy Tom Cahill of Midlothian, Ill.; one son, John G. Jr., of Fish Lake; 10 grandchildren, Dee and Tiffany Zeiler, Tommy, Cory and Nicole Cahill, Michele and John Becker III, Evan Barry and Ella and Beau Gilbert; three sisters, Bea Gray of St. Louis, Margie Decklemann of Tinley Park, Ill., and Maureen Reinke of Lemont, Ill.; two brothers, Andy of Fish Lake and Eugene of Page, Ariz.; and friend and companion, Kay Bruens of Fish Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon with Rev. Tim Cornette officiating. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Salem Chapel Cemetery, Salem Heights.
