Jo Hickman

Mrs. Jo E. Hickman, 63, of 12 Martha St., Kingsbury, IN., died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at 5:28 a.m. at the LaPorte Hospital. She was born September 4, 1941 in Greencastle, IN., to Joseph and Evelyn Thompson Muncie. She has lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Hickman retired in 2002 from the LaPorte Community School Corp. where she served in several office positions for 30 years. She was a member of the Kingsbury Baptist Church. She was married in LaPorte, IN. to Robert Hickman who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Melissa Tim Michaels of LaPorte, IN., Mrs. Andrea Don Hicks of LaPorte, IN.; one son Richard Hickman of Kingsbury, IN.; six grandchildren, Lorin Hickman, Emily Hickman, Katie Hickman, Alie Hicks, Brian Michaels; and one sister, Mrs. Linda Shackman of Tucson, AZ. She has been preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Derrick Lashua. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Kingsbury Baptist Church, with Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the Church. Burial will be in the Kingsbury Cemetery.
