Jeffrey M. Ogle July 9, 1956-September 12, 2014 Mr. Jeffrey M. Ogle, 58, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home. He was born July 9, 1956 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Cloyd "Jake" Ogle and Ruth (Terry) Ogle. Jeffrey worked 37 years for Arcelor Mittal. He was a member St. John's Lutheran Church and Men's Club. He was a LaPorte High School graduate and played on the LaPorte Slicers Tennis Team. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and enjoyed listening to music from the 50's and today's music. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Ogle of LaPorte, IN; two brothers, Randall (Glada) Ogle of La Porte, IN, Richard (Barbara) Ogle of La Porte, IN; two nephews, Rodney Ogle of La Porte, IN, Bruce Ogle of Chicago, IL; three nieces, Stephanie (Ken) Akselsen of Wall, NJ, Amy (John) Eason of La Porte, IN, and Katherine (Chris) Pollock of La Porte, IN. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Cloyd "Jake" Ogle, grandfather, Clyde "Tuffy" Ogle, grandmother, Almetta Million, grandparents, Ralph and Irene Terry. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday September 16, 2014 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Ronald A. Brauer officiating. Burial of ashes will be held at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Donor's Choice.
