Jeffrey McDaniels November 17, 1953-September 5, 2017 Mr. Jeffrey McDaniels, 63, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday September 5, 2017 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born November 17, 1953 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Robert McDaniels and Lois (Holland) McDaniels. Jeffrey was retired from Roll Coater Inc. after 30 years of service. He loved to fish and love being with his dogs and just taking life easy. He married Sylvia (Flores) McDaniels in La Porte, IN. She has preceded in death. He is survived by his three brothers, Dale McDaniels of La Porte, IN, Steve McDaniels of South Bend, IN, Robert (Diane) McDaniels of Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Brenda Bolsika of Fish Lake, IN, Kimberly Horner of La Porte, IN; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, September 7, 2017, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday, September 8, 2017, 9:30 am till time of the service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday September 8, 2017 at 10:30 am with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating.
