Jason Prater

Mr. Jason D. Prater, age 25, of 7701 S. US 35 Lot 36, La Porte, Ind., died Monday, September 19, 2005 at 10:38 PM as the result of an auto accident. He was born June 18, 1980 in LaPorte, IN. to Walter Prater and the late Linda Owens Prater. He has lived in the LaPorte area all of his life. Mr. Prater was employed by J & J Bar and Grill. He is also survived by his Father Walter Prater of Union Mills, IN.; his Girlfriend, Dorothy Williams of LaPorte, IN.; Two Daughters, Syerra Prater of Union Mills, Ind., Hailey Prater of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, Alayn Prater of La Porte, Ind.; Two Step-Sisters, Mrs. Kim Chris Camden of Linton, Ind., Carla Lowe of Farmersburg, Ind.; One Step-Brother, Walter Prater, Jr. of Sullivan, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2005 and from 11:00 am Friday September 23, 2005 until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2005, Rev. Rick Prater officiating. Interment will be at Tracy Cemetery in Hamlet, Ind.
