Jerry, as he was known to everyone, was happiest when he was with his family. Jerry faithfully remembered each family member on their birthday with a call or a message.
The Union Mills American Legion, Post 295, played a major role in his life. He served as the Post’s Adjutant for over 40 years. On any given day, you would find Jerry at the Post doing maintenance work or book work. He was a proud American and a proud Army veteran.
Jerry will be remembered as a person you could count on. If you needed anything, he would drop what he was doing and be right there. He loved his family, his Legion family, and his community.
