Jane Buss

Mrs. Jane Weir Wiberg Buss, age 88, of Rolling Prairie, IN, died Monday, December 4, 2006, at Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, IN. She was born February 22, 1918, in Louisville, KY, to Carl Wilberg and Katherine Dempesey Wilberg, who has preceded. Also preceded, is a son, Robert Buss, sister, Anne Hess, brother, Carl Wilberg. Mrs. Buss was a life-long resident of Rolling Prairie, IN, coming from Kentucky, at the age of one. On May 10, 1942 in LaPorte, IN, she was married to Paul Buss, who survives. Mrs. Buss was a co-owner of Buss Electric and was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. She was also a member of V.F.W. Auxilliary of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Mrs. Buss was always busy helping run Buss Electric. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and she loved to travel. She is survived by her husband Paul Eugene Buss, of Rolling Prairie, IN, One Son, Mr. Kenneth Judy Buss of Rolling Prairie, IN, One grandchild, Mr. Jeff Buss of Peoria, AZ, Several nieces and nephews Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2006, and Saturday December 9, 2006 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 9, 2006 , with Rev. Steve Laue officiating. Interment will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, IN, burial of Ashes at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to the LaPorte County Animal Shelter 2855 W.
