James Mcsurley

Mr. James W. McSurley, age 61, of Westville, IN, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born March 15, 1944 in Martin, KY, to Charles Hall and Stella McSurley McSurley, who has preceded. Also preceded in death is a brother, Jimmy Mosley. On November 20, 2002, in LaPorte, Indiana, he was married to Sandra Eubanks, who survives. Mr. McSurley was employed by Accurate Castings He Loved Country & Bluegrass music, played the banjo. He was a handyman, who liked to fix all sort of things. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Christine McSurley of Valparaiso, IN, Four Sisters, Charlene Lafferty, Darlene Lafferty, Colleen Lafferty, Ruby Hall, One Brother, Sammy Mosley of Denham, IN, Six grandchildren, Christopher J. Marshall of Walkerton, IN, Alicia M. Marshall of Walkerton, IN, Cody R. Marshall of Walkerton, IN, Corbin J. Marshall of Walkerton, IN, Devon McSurley of Valparaiso, IN, Adrianna McSurley of Valparaiso, IN, One great-grandchild, Aston J. Marshall of Walkerton, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2005, and from 8:00 AM Monday 12/12/2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home, until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Monday, December 12, 2005 , with Pastor Jack M. Cox officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, IN.
