James O. Lilly January 12, 1953-October 7, 2014 Mr. James O. Lilly, 61, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday October 7, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 12, 1953 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Willard A Lilly and Mary Jane (Cram) Lilly. James worked as a machine operator for A and M General, H and K Machine. He attended -Grace Baptist Church, was past member of Order of DeMolay, American Aquarist Society, Federation of American Aquarists Societies, Singing Sands Aquarists Society, and a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics, and Northern Indiana Modelers Association. On May 13, 1989, he married Barbara A. Lilly who survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, Brandi S. Lilly and Brittany A. Lilly both of La Porte, IN; two grandchildren, Cali and Chelsea Lilly; one brother, Roger A. Lilly of La Porte, IN; two nephews, Mark and Joe Lilly; two nieces, Wendi and Gina Lilly. James was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mary E. Hunt. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, October 09, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday, October 10, 2014 from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday October 10, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.
