Jacqueline Cygan

Mrs. Jacqueline J. Cygan, 41, of 3993 N. 500 E., Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away, Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 6:00 PM at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. She was born February 6, 1964 in East Chicago, Indiana to Ruth Ann Helgren and David Helgren, her father has preceded her in death. She had lived in the LaPorte, Indiana area for 11 years, coming from Griffith, Indiana Mrs. Cygan was a member of the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening, all forms of art and reading. On October 17, 1987 in Merrillville, Indiana she married, Timothy Cygan, who survives. Also surviving is her mother, Ruth Ann Helgren of Merrillville, Indiana; mother-in-law, Barbara Cygan, two sons, David Cygan of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Drew Cygan of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; three sisters, Carla Scott Bourrell of Cedar Lake, Indiana, Debra Terry Smit of Griffith, Indiana, Cathryn Robert Ducret of Merrillville, Indiana. Aunts and Uncles; Roselynne & Jim Oien, Carole & Edward Nichols, John & Nancy Carlson, Donald Carlson, Ruth & Stan Holme, William Helgren, Charles & Lynn Helgren, Donald & Patsy Helgren, Judith Carlson. Nieces and Nephews; Kelly Brian Vetter, Erin & Meredith Bourrell, Leah Smit, Jenna & Julia Ducret, Scott Michelle Bourrell, Seth Smit, Jonah & Jordan Ducret and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, David Helgren A Memorial Service will be held at the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie, Indiana on Tuesday 05/24/2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ransom Ebersole, officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday 05/23/2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, Indiana from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial of Ashes will be at a later date.
