Jack L. Williams February 8, 1950-July 9, 2015 Mr. Jack L. Williams, 65, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday July 9, 2015 at his home. He was born February 8, 1950 in Forest Park, Illinois, the son of Clarence Williams and Mildred (Thiesse) Williams. Jack was self-employed at A and A Sheet Metal and was the owner of Prairie Ridge Farms for 30 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of LaPorte. Jack enjoyed gold prospecting, he also loved fishing, cooking and traveling with his family. He is survived by his four sons, Ben Williams of La Porte, IN, Jacob "Jake" Williams of La Porte, IN, Charlie Williams of La Porte, IN, Jonathon "Jon" Williams of La Porte, IN; daughter, Samantha "Sami" (Williams) de Fluiter of Walkerton, IN; step-son, Tod Lowery of La Porte, IN; two brothers, David Williams of La Porte, IN, Michael H. Williams of La Porte, IN, and two nephews, Michael Williams of La Porte, IN, Patrick Williams of La Porte, IN Jack was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at Springville Cemetery, Monday July 13, 2015 at 10:30 am with Rev. Dr. Joseph Loftis officiating.
