Irene Jesch

Mrs. Irene Marie Jesch, 90, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday March 15, 2009 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born June 29, 1918 in Mill Creek, Indiana, the daughter of Albert Long and Millie Lingard Long. Irene was a retired office worker at the LaPorte County Court House. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she loved to travel. On May 5, 1951, in La Porte, IN, she married Harold Jesch who preceded in death Jan. 1, 2001. She is survived by nieces nephews and cousins. Irene was preceded in death by her father, Albert Long, mother, Millie Long, and husband, Harold Jesch. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., March 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Helen Nusbaum officiating. Interment will follow in the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
