Holly Jenks

Holly M Jenks December 25, 1949-May 24, 2018 Holly Marie Jenks, age 68, of Knox, formerly of LaPorte, passed away Thursday May 24, 2018. She was born December 25, 1949 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Norman and Frances (Parker) Hedstrom. On September 16, 1972 she married Calvin Jenks who survives. She is also survived by her son, Carl (Jennifer) Jenks, daughter, Cynthia Farmer, two grandchildren, Ashley and Alan Farmer and three sisters, Linda (Rob) Shaw, Julie Laymon and Susan Hedstrom as well as many nieces and nephews. Holly was preceded in death by her son Craig Jenks. Holly had a passion for working on genealogy. She enjoyed visiting cemeteries in conjunction with her genealogy work as well as maintaining family plots. For a few years, Holly took pride in maintaining several local cemeteries. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will receive friends Saturday, June 9, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A life celebration will commence at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Dixon officiating.
