Herschel Relford

Herschel Lee Relford March 7, 1944-August 13, 2016 Mr. Herschel Lee Relford, 72, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 at his home. He was born March 7, 1944 in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Elmer Relford and Aileen (McKenzie) Relford-Lee. He was Veteran of the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and he was a member of the National Rifle Assoc. On September 12, 1963, in Michigan City, he married Betty A. Freyer who survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, Shari A. (David) Pysher of Michigan City, IN, Carolyn S. (Thomas) Monroe of Kokomo, IN; four Grandchildren, Tommy Monroe, Taylor Monroe, Trent Monroe, Carly Monroe. Herschel was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, August 17, 2016, 9:00 am - 11:00 am. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating.
