Mr. Henry Stacy, 69, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday March 7, 2009 at LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. He was born November 29, 1939 in Breathitt, Kentucky, the son of Earl Stacy and Patsy Miller Stacy, living in the LaPorte, IN. area, since 1969, coming from Breathitt, KY. Henry worked as a laborer for Teledyne Casting for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the South Center United Baptist Church. Henry loved gardening, enjoyed listening to music and loved hunting and being outdoors. On April 24, 1960 in Breathitt, KY, he married Louella Prater. He is survived by his wife, Louella Stacy of La Porte, IN, three daughters; Charlotte Doug Watson of La Porte, IN, Carolyn Gene Langston of Heber Springs, AR, Deanna Tim Switzer of LaPorte, IN, two sons; Paul Teresa Stacy of Rolling Prairie, IN, John Stacy of LaPorte, IN, nine Grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five sisters; Nancy Ritchie, Hazel Mullins, Gladys Howard, Rosie Mullins, Lesa Vallo, seven brothers; J.B. Stacy, Charles Stacy, Shelby Stacy, Thurman Stacy, Earl C. Stacy, Clifford Stacy, and Ellis Stacy. Henry was preceded in death by his mother, father, and three brothers; Harlan Stacy, Joe Stacy, and Murlan Stacy. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and 9:00 am Thursday, March 12, 2009, until time of the service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., March 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Monroe Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana.
