Henritta Whitmer

Mrs. Henrietta E. Whitmer, 95 of 64576 Liberty Trail North Liberty, Indiana died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in her residence. Mrs. Whitmer was born October 11, 1909 in old Tracy, Indiana to August and Flora Morman Martensen who has proceeded, also preceded in death are three sisters, and four brothers. Mrs. Whitmer has lived in North Liberty for 56 years, coming from Rolling Prairie, Indiana. On June 29, 1929 in Old Tracy, Indiana she was married to Charles E. Whitmer who proceeded July 25, 1993. Mrs. Whitmer was a Homemaker, and was a owner/operator of a dairy farm. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donna Kay Carl Garwood of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Leah L. Clifford Halter of Rolling Prairie, IN, a son, Mr. Henry J. Betty Whitmer of Wabash, IN. Mrs. Whitmer has 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Friends may call on Friday February 11, 2005 from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana.
