Helen Pointon

Mrs. Helen Pointon, 76, of Caledonia, Mississippi, passed away, Monday, July 19, 2004 at her residence in Caledonia, MS. She lived in Mississippi for 2 years, had been a LaPorte Co. resident for 30 years. Born: January 19, 1928 in LaPorte, Indiana, to Thomas Kuta and Carey Kuta. On October 12, 1957 in LaPorte, Indiana , she married Dallas Pointon, who preceded, December 2, 1998. She was a housewife/homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaPorte, Indiana. Surviving are five sons; Peter Kuta of Michigan City, IN., Dennis Pointon of Michigan City, IN, Christopher Pointon of South Bend, IN., Johnny Pointon of Michigan City, IN, Richard Pointon of Mishawaka, IN, four daughters; Mary Ann Blodgett of Mishawaka, IN, Cindy Farley of Caledonia, MS, Patricia Wilkins of Inverness, FL., Tina Walden of South Bend, IN, five brothers; Joseph Kuta of New Buffalo, MI., Eugene Kuta of Tiptonville, TN., Thomas Kuta, Jr. of Michigan City, IN., Stanley Kuta of LaPorte, IN., Edmund Kuta of LaPorte, IN., three sisters; Evelyn Mick of LaPorte, IN., Delores Dusseau of LaPorte, IN., Ilene Pointon of LaPorte, IN., and forty-six grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. Preceded her in death are her parents; one sister, Geraldine, three brothers, Walter Kuta, Frank, Kuta, Richard Kuta and husband, Dallas, Pointon. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday 08/05/2004 at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, IN., there will be no visitation. Haverstock Funeral Home of LaPorte, IN. is in charge of the arrangements.
