Helen Pease

Helen E Pease, 82, of New Carlisle, Indiana, died Sunday August 7, 2011 at Hamilton Communities, Inc. in New Carlisle. She was born January 13, 1929 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, the daughter of Glenn Butler and Vera (Stoner) Butler. Helen worked as a marketing consultant for NIPSCO, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Rolling Prairie V.F.W. Helen enjoyed gardening. She was a very sufficient and independent woman. She is survived by her son - Judd A Pease of MS; 3-grandchildren - Katie, Amanda and Jessica, and one great-grandchild - Farrah; 2 sisters - Delores Ward of New Carlisle, IN, Hope Harris of Rolling Prairie, IN; 2 brothers - Dewaine Butler of Rolling Prairie, IN, Walter Butler of Rolling Prairie, IN, and several nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Daniel W Pease, two brothers - Albert and Raymod, and one sister - Lillie. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, August 11, 2011 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, August 12, 2011 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday August 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gene Flickinger officiating. Cremation will take place.
