Mrs. Helen E. Mitchell, 85 of 1700 I St. LaPorte, Indiana died Tuesday February 8, 2005 at 6:40 PM at Countryside Place LaPorte, Indiana. Mrs. Mitchell was born November 20, 1919 in LaPorte, Indiana to Michael and Theresa Revees Garab who has proceeded. Also preceded in death are a sister, and six brothers. Mrs. Mitchell lived in Oxnard, California for 45 years, before California, she lived in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ross of Portsmith, OH, and four sisters, Mrs. Theresa Morris of South Bend, IN, Mrs. Anna Smith of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Mary Vantine of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Elizabeth ?Betty? Hanisko of LaPorte, IN. Mrs. Mitchell has four grandchildren. There will be no visitation, or service, Memorial contributions can be made to the Harbor Light Hospice, 300 N.
