Helen Lute

Mrs. Helen O. Lute, age 73, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, June 2, 2006, at 12:00 AM at Countryside Place in LaPorte, Ind. She was born October 23, 1932 in Dunklin Co., MO to the late Arthur Bettuo and the late Rettie Wiseman Bettuo. She has lived in the LaPorte area most of her life. Mrs. Lute was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for 15 years and retired in 1973. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a fantastic mother and devoted wife, and a strong brave lady. On November 24, 1951 in Hanna, Indiana she married Charles V. Lute who preceded her in death May 15, 1994. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Teresa Tony Nash of Kingsford Heights, Ind., Mrs. Denise Stout of Kingsford Heights, Ind., Mrs. Marcia Larry Glick of La Porte, Ind., Two Sons, Mr. Steven Betsy Lute of Parker, Colo., Mr. Michael Lute of Kingsford Heights, Ind.; Eight grandchildren, Matthew Glick, Dana Collette, Timothy Stout, Erica Stout, Shelby Lute, Christo Lute, Michael Wayne Lute, Kasey Lute; Four great-grandchildren; and One Brother, Mr. Louis Bettuo of Inverness, Fla. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Monday, June 5, 2006 , Celebrant Craig B. Malone officiating. Interment will be at Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Ind.
