Helen Gloor

Mrs. Helen R. Gloor, age 91, of Denver, Colo., died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in Denver Colo. She was born November 18, 1914 in Westville, Ind. to the late Orien Gardner and the late Martha Froh Gardner. She grew up in the LaPorte County area then married and raised her son Kent in Springfield, Ill. She spent many years in Green Valley, Ariz. and most recently lived near her son in Denver Colo. Mrs. Gloor was a Homemaker and was a member of Lutheran Memorial Church, Springfield, IL. and the Desert Hills Lutheran Church of Green Valley, Ariz. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star, King's Daughters of Springfield, IL. In 1936 in Elkhart, Ind. he married Martha Froh who preceded him in death. She is survived by her One Son, Mr. Kent Abigail Gloor of Denver, Colo.; Two Sisters, Miss Kathryn Gardner of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Janice Mansbury of Indianapolis, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Kenneth Gardner of Winamac, Ind.; Three grandchildren Miss Jennifer Gloor of Dallas TX, Mrs. Linda Arnold of Thornton, Tex. and Miss Natalie Gloor of Ft. Collins, CO. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2006, Rev. Victor M. Frohne officiating. Interment will be at Union Mills Cemetery in Union Mills, Ind.
