Harvey Crawford

Mr. Harvey Charles Crawford, age 93, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, October 5, 2007, at Beverly LivingCenter -Fountainview in La Porte, Ind. He was born October 9, 1913 in Furnessville, Ind. to the late Wilbur Crawford and the late Blanche McMillen Crawford. Mr. Crawford was employed by Westville Oil Refinery as the shipping manager he retired in 1973 after 34 years of service and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. On November 6, 1946 in LaPorte, Ind. he married Ruth J. Fenker who preceded in death May 18, 2005. He is survived by hisTwo Sisters, Mrs. Florence Pagel of Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Audrey Cook of LaPorte, Ind.; and One Brother, Mr. Delbert Crawford of La Porte, Ind. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Five Sisters, Evelyn Rude, Melinda Thompson, Blanche Crawford, Dorothy Woodruff, Rose Sievert; and Five Brothers, Harold Crawford, Marvin Crawford, Raymond Crawford, Raymond Crawford, Jasper Crawford, and Glen Crawford. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2007, Pastor Joseph Loftis officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
