Harriett Hubner

Mrs. Harriett W. Hubner, age 83, of LaPorte, Ind., died 3:30 PM Monday, October 2, 2006, at Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, Ind. She was born April 5, 1923 in LaPorte Ind. to the late Otto Schultz and the late Hilda Schwartz Schultz. Mrs. Hubner was a clerk for the LaPorte Herald-Argus for 21 years retiring in 1988. She was the Manager of Northern Indiana Seniors, Singles Tournament at Quick's Lanes Bowling Alley. On May 30, 1947 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Alfred C. Hubner Jr. who preceded in death August 8, 1994. She is also survived by Three Daughters, Diane Hubner of La Porte, Ind., Lorraine Vern Schoof of La Porte, Ind., Geri Terry Snyder of Sebring, Fla.; Four grandchildren Doug Schoof, Laura Stower, Pamela Dickey, Glen Schoof; Three great-grandchildren; and One Sister, Mrs. Burdetta McClaran of LaPorte, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 5, 2006 and 9:00 AM Friday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, October 6, 2006. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
