Harold E. Kellogg May 30, 1932-March 4, 2018 Harold E. Kellogg, 85, of Hamlet, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born May 30, 1932 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Harvey and Mabel Kellogg. Harold was a graduate from Mill Creek High School, after graduating he served four years as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He retired from Preston Trucking as a driver for Teamster Local 364. He was a twenty-two year member of the Fish Lake Lions Club and a former Boy Scout Leader. Harold enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and farming. On August 6, 1954, in Sacramento, California he married Ima Jean (Betts) Kellogg who preceded in death November 9, 2010. He is survived by his four sons, Scott Kellogg, Ronald Kellogg, Robbie Kellogg, Charles Kellogg; two daughters, Susan Walker, Mary Sanchez; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by both parents, three daughters, Diane Nadel, Susan Williamson, Kathy Quinn; three sisters, Mildred Larson, Violet Bair, Ruth Ann Stackowski. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
