Harold Cole

Mr. Harold ?Bud? G. Cole, 83 of 31891 Chicago Trail Village, New Carlisle, Indiana died Friday December 24, 2004 at Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle, IN. He was born July 25, 1921 in LaPorte, IN to George Franklin and Ida Casten Cole who has proceeded. Mr. Cole lived in the LaPorte, area for 3 years, coming from Sebring, FL; Mr. Cole spent his early years in LaPorte IN. On June 1, 1942 in Charleston, Missouri he married Catherine A. Cornell, who survives. Mr. Cole worked as a carpenter for 60 years, retiring 1993. Mr. Cole was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaPorte, VFW Auxiliary Post #9423 of Rolling Prairie, Lions Club- Long Beach, Calif. Veteran of US Army, during WWII. Preceded in death are three brothers, Mr. George Cole, Mr. Herman Cole, Mr. Earl Cole, and three sisters, Mrs. Edna Mansfield, Mrs. Lottie Musser, and Mrs. Leona Ackerman. Surviving is a brother in-law, Gary Cornell of LaPorte, IN, a sister in-law, Mrs. Margaret Wilbur Smith of Sarasota, FL, several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no service or visitation, burial of ashes will take place in National Cemetery in Madison, IN, at a later date.
