Gregory A. Thibideau September 9, 1962-January 15, 2015 Mr. Gregory A. Thibideau, 52, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away to go see his father on Thursday January 15, 2015 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. He was born September 9, 1962 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Vernon Thibideau Sr. and Minerva (Parker) Thibideau. Gregory retired as a maintenance supervisor for Michigan City Park and Recreational in December of 2013. He was handy with his hands doing woodworking. He was a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Martial Arts. Gregory loved hunting, and riding motorcycles. He loved his family very much, and took great care of them. Gregory was a hard working and honest man.. On August 14, 1982, he married Gail (Sims) Thibideau who survives. He is also survived by his mother Minerva Thibideau of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Joshua (Kaylyn) Thibideau of Trail Creek, IN, Jacob (Shelby) Thibideau of Michigan City, IN; daughter, Tanya (Jeff) Thibideau of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren, twin grandsons, Caleb and Chase Heuer, Miya, Mason, and Kohen Thibideau; two sisters, Penny Oman of Michigan City, IN, Sandy (George) Cox Valparaiso, IN; one brother Vernon (Dorine) Thibideau Jr. of La Porte, IN. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Diana Marie Parrish. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21, 2015, 2:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Cremation will take place.
