Gregory Oman

Mr. Gregory A. Oman, 46, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday November 3, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN. He was born October 17, 1963 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Glenn E. Oman Sr. and Kay Travis Snow. Gregory worked as a supervisor for Dwyer Instruments in Michigan City, IN. for twenty-six years. He was a member of the LaPorte Yacht Club. Gregory was an active softball player in the Summer Baseball Leagues. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kay and David Snow of LaPorte, IN; son, Nicholas G. Oman of Grand Junction, CO; two brothers, Glenn E. Janet Oman Jr. of LaPorte, IN, Geoffrey Jodi Sellers of LaPorte, IN; step-sister, Debbie Pauff of OH; six step-brothers, Robert Pauff of OK, William Pauff of Elkhart, IN, James Pauff of PA, Ron Sellers of Three Oaks, MI, Samuel Sellers of GA, Jerry Sellers of AZ; Gregory was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, November 06, 2009 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, November 07, 2009 9:00 am, until time of services. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday November 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana.
