Mr. Gordon W. Glen, age 87, of 2549A Royal Pines Circle, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of LaPorte, died Sunday, February 5, 2006, at Manor Care of Palm Harbor in Palm Harbor, Fla. He has lived in Florida for the last 25 years moving there from the Lansing, ILL. area He was born August 7, 1918 in Chicago, IL. to the late Charles Glen and the late Verna Waldruff Glen. Mr. Glen was employed as a clerk in the galvanizing department by Inland Steel for 21 years and retired in 1981 He was a Veteran of the 2nd Armored Division of the US Army during W.W. II. On February 15, 1962 in Chicago, IL. to Barbara A. Carson who survives. He is also survived by his Two Sons, Mr. Charles G. Sandra Glen of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Bruce H. Glen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Three grandchildren Mr. Charles C. Glen, Steven Bobinski, Melinda Stacy; Seven great-grandchildren and One Niece. He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Brother, Vernon Glen. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2006, Pastor Brian Baughman officiating. Interment will be at Door Village Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
