Glenna B Adkins, 94, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home.

She was born February 6, 1927 in Silush Camp, West Virginia, the daughter of Delbert Fowler and Nancy (Adkins) Fowler.

On February 23, 1946 in Kentucky, she married Bethard Adkins, who preceded her in death. Glenna was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Adkins; brothers, Johnnie, Billy and Bobby and sisters, Opal, Myrtle and Ruby.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Anez of La Porte, IN; grandchild, Jo Ann Schell and great-grandchild, Tyler J. Schell.

Glenna came to the area in 1958 from Holden, W.Virginia. A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Glenna was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, enjoyed crafts and had a gentle spirit. She will be dearly missed.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Glenna will be buried at Patton Cemetery next to her husband, Bethard. There will be no services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the New Hope Baptist Church.
