Glenn Hutchinson

Mr. Glenn Hutchinson, 70, of 4605N CR-400W, LaPorte, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Indianapolis to Waldo and Catherine Thyrman Hutchinson, and had lived most of his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. Hutchinson retired in 1997 as a truck driver for Boise Cascade after 30 years. He was a member of 40 et 8 American Legion, Democratic Service Club and VFW, and was president of the Teamsters Retirees Club. Preceding him in death were his parents and one grandchild. Surviving are four daughters, Shannon Eric Martin of LaPorte, Cathy George Watson and Jody Wesley Wilson, both of Florida, and Kimberly Tyler South of Oregon, Ohio; four sons, Jim of Florida, Wes Nora Francis of Virginia Beach, Va., JR Leslie Francis of La-Porte and Dan Korp of South Bend; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, with a military service by 40 et 8 American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
