Gilbert Morgan

Mr. Gilbert M. Morgan, age 84, of La Porte, Ind., died 8:55 Am Saturday, July 7, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born October 3, 1922 in Michigan City, IN to the late Glenn Morgan and the late Ramona Martin Morgan. He has lived in the LaPorte area most of his life. Mr. Morgan was employed by Vitamins Inc. and was a member of Kingsbury Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He loved his family & Friends, He enjoyed gardening. On June 25, 1955 in Kingsbury, IN he married Dorothy Hoskins who survives He is also survived by One Daughter, Mrs. Pam Michael McIntyre of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, Mr. Terry Morgan of Bloomington, Ind; Two Grandchildren, Andrew McIntryre, Adam McIntyre; One Sister, Mrs. Patricia David DeWart of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and One Brother, Mr. Frank Elosie Morgan of Carlton, Texas. Proceeded in death by his Parents, Three Sisters, Sara Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan, and Barbra Johnson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2007 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2007, Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Interment will be at Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Ind. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetary by the LaPorte VFW and American Legion.
