Gertrude Fraze

Mrs. Gertrude M. Jacobucci Fraze, age 86, of LaPorte, Ind., died Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Golden Living Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, Ind. She was born on April 4, 1922 in Washington Co. Pennsylvania to the late Angelo Jacobucci, Jr. and the late Mary Colonna Jacobucci. Mrs. Fraze was employed by Whirlpool Corp. for 20 + years and was a member of First United Methodist Church of LaPorte, Ind. She was also a member of Pine Lake Grange #1044, and a Square Dancing Club. On April 3, 1943 in Michigan City, Ind., she married Kenneth D. Fraze, Sr. who preceded February 19, 2002. She is survived by her ; Daughter-in-law-Mrs. Kathy Jon Mack of Hanna, Ind.; Two Grandchildren, Jennifer Roy Fraze Mack Zimmerman and Jeffery Kim Fraze; and One Great-grandchild; Four Brothers, Mr. Louis Jacobucci of Michigan City, Ind., Mr. Gene Jacobucci of Michigan City, Ind., Mr. Angelo Jacobucci, Jr. of Michigan City, Ind., Mr. Paul Jacobucci of Manassas, Va. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Son; Kenneth D. Fraze, Jr.; One Brother, Al Jacobucci Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in LaPorte, Ind. on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Kent Dale, officiating. A Committal Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Swan Lake Masoleum, Michigan City, Ind.
