Gene Arthur Warren December 17, 1934-August 4, 2019 Gene Arthur Warren, 84, of La Porte, IN, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, IN. He was born December 17, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Jacob Warren and Thelma (Jones) Warren. Gene was a retired employee of GTE Verizon. He was highly active in the Stillwell Alumni and enjoyed the luxury of cars. On October 15, 2014, in La Porte, IN, he married Phill Sala who survives in La Porte, IN. He is also survived by his daughter, Dawn Warren of Tuscon, AZ; son, Jason (Sherry) Warren of La Porte, IN; sister, Kay (Mike) Czanderna of La Porte, IN, and brother, Allen (Carolyn) Warren of La Porte, IN. Gene was preceded in death by both his parents, wife, Beverly Warren, son, Bryan Warren, and brother, Roy Warren. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN at a later date.
