Mrs. Gail Irene Skinner Borkowski, age 71, of 1410 Rumley St., La Porte, Ind., died Monday, September 5, 2005, at her Son's Residence in La Porte, Ind. She was born March 17, 1934 in LaPorte, IN. to the late Earl Skinner and the late Irene McCormick Skinner, and has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Borkowski was a Homemaker. She was a Member of the PTA also involved in United Way. She was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. On June 22, 1952 in LaPorte she married Esward L. Borkowski Sr. who survives. She is also survived by Two Daughters, Mrs. Karen Phil Noe of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Carla "Chic" Gary Spencer of New Carlisle, Ind.; Four Sons, Mr. Edward Linda Borkowski, Jr. of La Porte, Ind., Mr. David Denise Borkowski of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Kevin "Dude" Crystal Borkowski of Hamlet, Ind., Mr. Derek Casie Borkowski of New Carlisle, Ind.; Two Sisters, Mrs. Joan Ren of LaPorte, IN. and Mrs. Twila Sullivan of Indianapolis, IN,; Twenty Five grandchildren and Thirteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Three Sisters, Norma Skinner, Betty Schroeder, June Wilson; Two Brothers, Cecil Nelson and George Skinner Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2005. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2005 , Rev. Nellie Vardeman officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mill Creek, Ind.
