Franklin Hall

Franklin D. Hall February 26, 1933-May 14, 2015 Mr. Franklin D. Hall, 82, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday May 14, 2015 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born February 26, 1933 in Winamac, Indiana, the son of Edward Hall and Doris (Rigleman) Hall. Franklin was a retired vice president for LaPorte Savings Bank. He was a member of the Swanson Senior Center, and volunteered at the Salvation Army. Franklin loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On September 3, 1955, in Rolling Prairie, IN, he married Barbara (Bush) Hall who survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, Teresa (Kevin) Shuter of Rolling Prairie, IN, and Alesia (Tom) Lasky of La Porte, IN; five grandchildren, Matthew (Swati) Shuter, Ashley (Jeff) Wright, Quinn Lasky, Bryce Lasky, Frank Hall; two great-grandchildren, Macy Wright, and Maya Wright, and one brother, William Hall of Rolling Prairie, IN. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, son, Frank Hall, Jr., one sister, Marge Hall, and one brother, Gene Hall. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date.
